Before and After.

I found a bench with a sink for my dollhouse, and some pictures to go in it too. It looks much better now,

I don’t know if anyone cares, but I’m going to do an update on my dollhouse. The bathroom isn’t anywhere near done, so I’m leaving that one out this time.

In the first picture, which is the living room, I’m pretty much done with that room. I bought a lot of the things in it, like all of the furniture, food, people ect. My favourite thing about the room is the dog lying on the couch. It’s just so cute. I made up the little magazines, and monopoly set on the coffee table.

The next room is the Kitchen. This one is quite clearly not finished yet - I still have to find a bench or something for it. So far, I only have the stove, and the buffet table. This room has a lot more things I made in. I mainly used printables to makeĀ  the dog food bag, the cat food box, the canisters you can see on the ledge, and other canisters, and cereal boxes on the buffet. I’m quite pleased with how they turned out, and it was a lot cheaper than buying all of that stuff - I’m trying to keep the cost down so I can spend more on things I can’t make, like large furniture.

Next room is the bedroom. This one is mostly finished - I just think it needs a bookcase, and then I’ll be happy. Again, I mainly bought furniture for this room. The only things I made are the magazines on the bedside table.

The house is a second-hand one I bought at a dollhouse shop, and so it came with all of the wallpaper, and flooring. I did change the flooring in the living room as I didn’t like the one it came with. But I’ve left the flooring the same in the other rooms. The bathroom has awful wallpaper, so I’ll be changing that.

My dream dollhouse is a Nancy Drew one. I’d love to create a mini-version of the house in ASH, and have mini-versions of Nancy, Bess, and George. Maybe one day.

(Sorry in advance for the quality of the pictures - They’re not great I know).

So I’ve been working on a second-hand dollhouse I bought earlier this year. Now that it’s Christmas time, I wanted to make some things to go in my dollhouse. In the first picture, you can see that I’ve made some felt stockings for the fireplace, and some mini-Christmas cards for the mantle. In the second one, I’ve put in a tree I bought for a dollar at one of those Christmas shops that sell only Christmas stuff. I added some lights I got in a dollhouse shop, and the little Santa is a Christmas decoration I didn’t use for my real tree. I made the little presents under the tree. In the last picture, there are more mini-Christmas cards I made on the tea trolly. I’m planning on attempting to create some pet beds this weekend, and a couch. I’ve bought a lot of the things for the house so far (Which isn’t finished), but I want to have at least one thing in each room that I’ve created myself.
